Mala

The Mala flying site in Lanzarote is located next to the Presa de Mala dam. It is ideal for moderate northeast or east winds, with landings in the nearby plains. This is a classic site for paragliding and hang gliding, featuring spectacular views. Access is via a dirt track from the village of Mala, and the best flying season is from October to March.

Flying Site Details

• Location: Next to the Presa de Mala, northwest of the village of Mala, in the municipality of Haría.
• Orientation (Winds): Primarily for northeast (NE) or east (E) winds; a classic takeoff on the island.
• Access: Via a dirt track of about 3 km from Mala; 4x4 recommended during rainy periods.
• Landing: In the plains in front of the takeoff, in the coastal area, or top-landing.
