Tenesar

Tenesar is a coastal ridge-soaring site facing north, with takeoffs between 10–80 m ASL along volcanic cliffs above the Atlantic.

Conditions

• Ideal for north-northeast to north-west trade winds (15–32 km/h)
• Offers smooth ridge lift and fantastic view to Famara and the dark lava fields
• Year-round flyable thanks to Lanzarote’s mild climate, but most suitable for summer, when wind is stronger.

• Spectacular views over black malpaís, red volcanic cones, and the ocean toward La Graciosa
• Large, obstacle-free landing zones
